Terms of Service
Effective October 19, 2026
These terms cover the AI visibility audits, reports, and monitoring services sold by Citation Guild (“we,” “us”). By purchasing a service, you agree to these terms.
What you are buying
An AI visibility audit is a point-in-time research report. The standard audit tests 26 buyer questions across five AI answer surfaces — Google AI Overview, OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI Grok, and Gemma — and records which businesses each answer names. The deliverable is a PDF report with findings, evidence, and a prioritized fix list, delivered within two business days after we receive your intake information.
What we need from you
Your business name, website, city, the services you want to be recommended for, and any context that helps us judge the answers. You confirm that you are authorized to request research on the business you submit.
No guarantees
AI answers are non-deterministic and vary by location, time, model version, and phrasing. We do not guarantee that any AI system will mention, rank, cite, or recommend your business, and we do not guarantee traffic, leads, or revenue. What we provide is a rigorous point-in-time audit, a specific fix list, and — where purchased — a re-test that shows movement.
Payment
Prices are in U.S. dollars and are due at checkout unless we agree to an invoice. Payments are processed by Stripe. Founding-client pricing applies to the first five audits and may end when those slots are filled. Monitoring is a monthly subscription that renews automatically until canceled.
Cancellation and refunds
Audits and white-label reports: you may cancel for a full refund before we begin work. Once the report has been delivered, the service is complete and is not refundable. Monitoring: you may cancel before the next renewal; cancellation stops future charges, and there are no partial-month refunds. If we cannot deliver a purchased report, we will refund it in full. Use of deliverables
You may use the report inside your business. Agencies may brand white-label reports for their clients. You may not resell the underlying methodology, represent the audit as a guaranteed ranking service, or publish the report as a promise of future AI visibility.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for disputes is in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota.
